Land transport with daily departures - Truck

The Land Transport service – Daily Truck – offers an efficient and reliable solution for your logistics needs.

With optimized routes, and strict compliance with deadlines, we ensure that your goods arrive at their destination quickly and safely.

Export/Import

  • Weight/Volume Ratio: For mainland Portugal and the Islands, the ratio is 200 kg/m3.
  • Maximum actual weight per volume: 70 kg
    • NOTE: There may be some exceptions, namely for Zone 6 Countries. In cases of packages with actual weights above 65kg, confirm with Customer Service (SAC)
  • VMV – “Minimum value per volume” – Value to be applied, whenever the result of multiplying VMV by the number of packages in the same shipment is higher than the price indicated by the service agreement, in the respective weight range.
  • Maximum dimensions: in any dimension 120 cm and (2xH)+(2xW)+L < 300 cm
    • NOTE: Shipments with larger dimensions must be confirmed by the Customer Service. In addition, some destinations may require an extra fee for large packages, in the amount of €20 per package.
  • High risk origin/destination tax:  For countries at risk, with embargoes or other economic and social limitations identified in the alfaloc areas, a fee of â‚¬25 applies.
    • Check the availability of the service for the desired destination.
  • Shipments to Non-Metropolitan Areas: For shipments to and from non-metropolitan areas, a fee of â‚¬ 0.38 per kg applies, with a minimum of â‚¬15, in addition to the value of the service.
  • Deliveries to private destinations: will incur an additional fee of € 4.00 EUR.
  • Audit correction cost. When the audited taxable weight is greater than or equal to 25% of that indicated in the Waybill. 8% of the correction with a minimum of 1.50 Euros per shipment.
  • Fee applied to the absence of critical data for the success of a transport of €4.00.
  • Fuel Fee:  We  adjustand disclose,  weekly, this rate 5 days in advance. 
  • Documentation: All shipments must be accompanied by the respective transport  document (delivery note, transport note, invoice).
  • Packaging:   alfaloc warns of the importance of correctly packaging orders.  The responsibility for packaging lies with the shipper.
  • Labelling: All packages must be properly labelled with the identification and address of the recipient.

  • Transports will be carried out in accordance with the General Conditions of alfaloc
