On March 3rd, Alfaloc was present at the Gala + Industry of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, where the 2019/2020 Scholarships + Industry were delivered. In this event, the excellence, dedication and exceptional results of IPLeiria’s students stood out. Thus, Alfaloc awarded the scholarship to the student with the best average entry into the Degree in Marketing, Andreia Jesus.
Alfaloc’s Marketing Director, Bruno Lemos, delivered the diploma, accompanied by the vice-president of CEFAMOL, Pedro Pereira, the president of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Rui Pedrosa, and the president of NERLEI, António Poças.

The ‘Polytechnic of Leiria + Industry’ protocol emerged precisely to effectively promote the approximation between students, teachers, researchers and companies in the region. To ensure continued success, three institutions actively collaborate with each other:

More than simply recognizing the importance of bringing higher education closer to the community, especially the business environment, Alfaloc joins IPLeiria because it firmly believes that future workers play an essential role in the world of work and society. Therefore, with great pride, Alfaloc supports the students of the Polytechnic of Leiria.
Since 2013, when the “Polytechnic of Leiria + Industry” protocol was created, 184 students have already received support. With this commitment, the goal continues to be to invest in the future, recognizing and valuing the potential of each individual.
