The legal regime of national transport defines the value of €10 per kg as compensation for the operator in losses or damages for which it is responsible.

Civil liability of the road carrier - CMR
According to Decree-Law No. 239/2003, which regulates the CMR Convention on international transport, if there is loss or damage to the goods, the carrier may have to compensate its customer.
